I recently received a jar and I have to say the smell is very off putting for me. It smells like a weird, burned coffee scent. The consistency is very thick but it melts somewhat once you apply it to your scalp. Overall I can't say if I'll be able to use this product daily.

I mix my bantana oil with organic cold pressed rosemary oil, organic cold pressed castor oil, and pumpkin seed oil as an overnight scalp treatment. I let it sit in hot water to warm the mixture and I evenly apply it while my hair is dry. So, far it has worked very nicely. My hair is nice, shiny, growing seems to have increased and my hair seems to be getting thicker. My scalp feels nourished and healthy as well. I've done this twice and already seeing a difference.

I used Batana oil for years under the trade name Ojon. However, the company stopped selling in the UK and the pure product became impossible to find until I recently discovered Batanaful.
Honestly, I expected the product to be sub par but was wrong. It is pure, the smell nutty and aromatic, the colour light golden, and it melts on touch, all consistent with the product's quality.
With the recent heat wave, my skin reacted with rashes and severe itching. Batana oil to the rescue and within a few days my skin has calmed down substantially. A little goes a long way!
